Thank You Nick & CVP

As mentioned in my previous post, I said that I would dedicate a separate one in appreciation for the wonderful teacher who helped me to connect to the artist that I really am - and so here it is!

I was a very unhappy, unfulfilled and lost artist for a very long time. I wanted to be able to express myself freely and unapologetically , but I just didn’t know how to do that.

There was a part of me that I absolutely knew 100% existed and that it wanted me as much as I wanted it. Not being able to access that innate part of myself was extremely painful.

One day, a couple of years ago, a video was on my Facebook feed offering a free art workshop - not an unusual pop up to see, but there was something very special about this one.

Call it gut feeling, intuition, resonance... whatever, but I just knew deep within me that this was a gift and that I should receive it as such. The video was a promotional one for Art2Life, founded and run by Nicholas Wilton.

Needless to say I enrolled on the free course, and the content, the integrity and the authenticity was such that it was a no-brainer to continue on to Nick's three month Creative Visionary Program (CVP) course, even though my financial circumstances at the time said otherwise.

When I say 'course', that doesn't really give the experience the credence it deserves - maybe 'salvation' is more accurate!

There are thousands of art courses out there, so what makes Nick and his course so great? Well, for me, before I even googled Art2Life, I felt an overwhelming resonance as I heard Nick speak. His desire to serve others is undeniable, and I trusted that he would teach what I needed from the moment I listened to him.

.CVP taught me to put aside any old ideas and limiting beliefs I had about my art, and begin approaching it in a new way. This new way was not all about the finished piece at all. This new way was all about the process and the sense of being IN the work in the moment, as opposed to DOING the work to get to a result. Art is not something you DO, it’s something you ARE in the moment. CVP taught me to be present with my art, which opens the door to intuition.

Nick manages to teach principles of the physicality of art making, while showing us how to tap into our intuition in such a way that only a wonderful teacher can do.

In line with Nick’s integrity, the Art2Life team he has put together are of the same calibre and are so supportive and knowledgeable.

Check out the Art2life website if you wish. There you will find a plethora of knowledge, and many testimonials from artists that have gone on to have great success following CVP.

The Creative Visionary Program is an experience that I am so very glad that I’ve had. Thank you Nick!
