This series is all about hard edges and high contrast. Within the texture is evidence of playfulness and uncertainty, which at some point was overridden by strong decision making in how, where and what was applied.
It can be difficult to make a decision when we cannot predict an outcome. We spin our wheels, going nowhere, waiting for an obvious sign and become despondent when we don’t see any clues.
The signs do not usually come with lit up neon letters (although they could), they are generally more subtle than that. The signs are felt within us; an encouraging voice in our head, excitement in our solar plexus, goosebumps on our skin, or just a general sense of what feels right.
The more sensitive we are to these signs, the more we can comfortably settle on something and go with it, knowing it is the best decision for us in the moment.
